Makua Lomi Lomi Kalaimoku
In the 21st century today Lomilomi is looked upon most as a massage. It is more than just a massage. It is a Healing Art, which looks at the body, mind, heart and spirit “soul” in multiple dimensions. In the ancient practice of traditional Hawaiian Healing, no separation existed between the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. All was treated with Ho’oponopono (emotional and spiritual alignment), la’au lapa’au (medicinal plants), oli (chant), lomilomi (moving of the muscles), Ha’iha’i ’iwi (moving of the bones) and lele wai (cleansing) internally and externally. This lifestyle included traditional practices of hula (dance) and/or lua (martial Arts), which complemented the ability to stay in alignment on all levels. This knowledge of no separation between the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels is shared by indigenous cultures around the world.
Makua Lomilomi Kalaimoku is a treasure that should be treated with respect. All indigenous cultures have very effective traditional Healing modalities. The Hawaiian culture, traditions and beliefs has values that have an underlying perspective, It is the Spirit of ʻIhi (sacred respect); meaning they will not go out of their way to tell you that this is not of their belief system. I believe that sharing my Sacred Royal Hawaiian Traditional Healing knowledge among the people of the world opens up spiritual awakening to all.
Evolution is happening day and night on our papaʻhonua “mother earth”, as so will the Lā hui “people”. One must evolve with the other in a corresponding relationship.
The Hawaiian motto of Hawai’i, “Ua mau ke ea o ka ‘aina i ka pono” comes from my ancestors and recites today on the Hawaiian seal and in modern day within Hawaiian lyrics. We are the generation of the ‘now’ that with bring forth a transformation to a better wellbeing of life. It is the time to bring forth the Hawaiian cultural and spiritual values with the Spirit of Alohā to the world. The beauty and spirit of the islands of Hawaii shall perpetuate by continuing to malama (nurture) and grow from within. We shall perpetuate by example, “Hele ka mo‘olelo”, walk the traditions to perpetuate for us to make the time to heal ourselves so that we may heal others. We must continue to evolve as a people with a culture of Respect, Honor, Integrity, Promise and Trust. We may intertwine the seeds of our Ancestral Past within an Ancestral Creation in the Present into the adornments of our Ancestral Descendent future.
We are open to share and learn from one another without fear or judgment!
